I had both types of 'halo traction' fitted as shown above, the four point one was what I ended up wearing for over 3 months. The titanium screws have to be regularly tightened into the skull bone. After 3 months skin, muscle and bone has grafted onto the titanium pins, making their final removal an extremely agonizing experience |
